If you need to update the expiry date on a batch of credentials, here is how.
IMPORTANT NOTE: A credit will be deducted if the expiry date is changed to a date outside of the billing year that it was originally issued.
Updating a Single Credential
If you only need to change the expiry date on one credential, here is what to do:- Go to the Credentials tab at the top of the Accredible Dashboard.
- Using the Search field on top of the credentials list, you can search by:
- Recipient Name
- Email Address
- Credential ID
- Click on the Credential ID # or the
3-dot menu button on the right and click Expire.
- Edit the data in the Expiry Date.
- Click Save.
Updating Multiple Credentials
If you need to change the expiry date for multiple credentials, you have a couple of options:
Mass Update by Spreadsheet
Upload a spreadsheet with either the recipients' Credential IDs or Email Addresses in one column, and the new expiry dates in another. This article provides step-by-step guidance on how to do this: How Do I Mass Update Multiple Credentials In One Group?
Important Note: The Accredible system searches for the recipient email by default when determining which credentials need to be updated. But if you allow duplicates for your group, we would recommend using Credential IDs instead.
The 'Set Expire Date' Function
- Go to Credentials at the top of the Accredible Dashboard.
OR
Navigate to the Credential List of the relevant group. - Select the credentials that need updating.
- Click Set Expiry Date.
- Select Never, Immediately, or A Later Date.
For A Later Date, use the date picker to choose the new expiry date. - Click Set Expiry Date.
