Why is My Credential Unavailable?

If you have tried to access your credential and encountered a 404 code instead, here is what you can do.

The 404 Unavailable Code

If you are trying to view your credential and see the message displayed below, your credential has not yet been published, has been deleted by your course issuer, or is set to private, and you are signed out.

Why is My Credential Unavailable

What to Do Next

The best thing to do is to contact your issuer directly to ask why your credential is unavailable. It might be that:

  • Your credential has been created but has not yet been published by your issuer.
  • Your issuer has deleted the credential.
  • Your credential is currently set to private, and you are not signed in to www.credential.net. For more information on how to sign into a private credential, click here.

Your course issuer maintains the discretion to revoke and delete a certificate at any time. If you believe this to be a mistake, we would recommend that you either contact your course issuer directly to discuss the issue, or you can contact Accredible's customer support at support@accredible.com.
